The
Char founded The Feel Good Club to support parents and children to achieve their true goals and happiness.
But, where did it all begin?
My name is Char. I grew up in humble beginnings in New Cross, South East London before moving to Cheam, Surrey for secondary school, and later to Cape Town, South Africa, where I completed my A-Levels. I earned my BSc in Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, in 2006 and soon found myself building a rewarding career in Recruitment and Career Coaching. Over the years, I’ve worked with incredible global brands including Marks & Spencer, L’Oréal, Innocent Drinks, Credit Suisse, Rio Tinto, and Westfield, both here in London and in Perth, Australia.
As time went on, I found myself drawn toward more meaningful, purpose-driven work. I reflected on my skills and passions, and discovered a perfect match in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Coaching. A field that allows me to support young people as they grow in confidence, resilience, and self-belief.
I understand that with so many options available, choosing the right kind of support for your child can feel overwhelming. Put simply, coaching is a journey of personal development that helps individuals achieve their goals; whether that’s improving academic performance, building self-esteem, or navigating life's challenges.
In my work, I focus deeply on listening, understanding, and learning. I believe that when these three elements come together, they have the power to create lasting, transformative change - for both children and adults alike.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me with my headphones on, running through open fields or enjoying a long walk in nature. I also love cooking, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
If you would like to have an informal chat, please don't hesitate to reach out by email on info@thefeelgoodclub.co.uk. I would love to hear from you.
